Because of You

Here I lie. It seems again the
overwhelming silence bears down on my
heart.
How could you know me?
You made me, but do you keep me?
I'm here because of you.
Different to you. You'll never know
what a thing you've left in the dark.
It's my home now. You've made it this
way.
You made me, but do you keep me?
I'm here because of you.
Here I stand again. These empty walls
greet me like you never could. They'll be
here when you never will.
But I'll be gone.
To the dark, where you leave me to decay.
You made me, but do you keep me?
I'm here because of you.
Raise my eyes to a dead sky. One I'll
never see again.
Look at me, if you could.
But you won't. You never will.
It's too much for you to spend.
For one life. Not enough for you. Never
enough.
You made me, but do you keep me?
I'm here because of you.
When you bought me this. When you took
the money from my life.
Did you know I'd use it? Did you see me
even then?
Does the red strike me?
The torn skin so neat.
Could you see me then?
You made me, but do you keep me?
I'm here because of you.
You hide me away. Do I ashamed you?
Am I not what you want?
Would you spend the time for my funeral?
Or am I just nothing even then.
Standing again. Watching the sky.
Red rivers run down my arms, my neck.
I won't cry out for you.
Would you cry for me?
You made me, but do you keep me?
I need to know. Before the dark where you
hide me keeps me instead.
I belong now, did you know?
Someone sees me.
Death loves me and I'll go.
You made me, but you don't keep me. Now
you never will.
And you still don't care.
I'm here because of you.
